The Blackbox Faultmate seems to be the daddy and would be my choice, I've read loads about it, but then I've also read about lack of support from Blackbox and that really puts me off spending all my hard earned cash on something that I know very little about

blackbox are based in cyprus so they are probably sunbathing all the time.....£1k for the faultmate is a bit different to around £250 for the others. ... - .- -.

I've got to say I'm enjoying the IIDTool I bought. I just keep it in the glovebox and can just plug it in whenever or wherever. It's so simple an idiot can use it without the manual whilst eating his tea see my videos as proof (links in a different post) I haven't tried using it on the move, not sure how it would work particularly as the cruise controls used to drive the device also drive the car.

I am very much looking forward to see what the "fall" update brings.

Note to Steve - "autumn" Thumbs Up Geoff

Ok, so I go on vacation and get Censored at my kids while driving - especially when the motor starts overheating and I have to open the hood to check the engine. Laughing

As they say: the USA and the UK - two countries divided by a common language Razz

Had to chuckle on the 'eating tea' bit, btw - don't know if that's really common but it conjures up funny pics in a Yank. Laughing

EDIT - that was supposed to be p-i-s-s-e-d. Is that really considered a cuss word?

What difference does rim size make if the rolling circumference of the tyres are the same?

It's because the measurements are taken from the wheel arch to the bottom of the rim. So bigger rims changes the measurements and therefore they have to be adjusted. It sounds like he's doing this adjustment automatically now by asking for the rim size.

So am I right in saying,

- it works on upto 2vins?
- its £305 delivered to the uk?

What happens if you sell your ffrr and get another?
Are you allowed to say get upto 1vin change per year?

I've checked the site and it's says vins upto 5A.
Mines a 6A and uses the most system but is still a TD6 pre facelift model if thy makes sense??
Will it work with my ffrr??

Can it now edit the ccf as this is something I want to jump into??

you cant edit the CCF except for steering wheel /seat memorys on-off and park sensor volume and the suspension calibration..

mine is a late 5A****** and storey has had problems with some of my settings so if yours is a 6A***** then you got no chance..

steves IIDTool would be a better bet for you but it is locked to one vin.. ... - .- -.

@Scarey

Wonder if you could help.
On Storeys demonstration video he shows the Body Module Function as available in the "change settings" function.
For some reason I can't access this, is this function available as per the video?
