I have a TD6 and i still cant get a unit like this.... Sad

The IIDTool is actually suited for the TD6: L322 02-05 and 06-09, RRS <09, and Disco3. The unit works on all systems except the TD6 Engine ECM - mainly because there are no diesels sold in North America. Friday eve we were able to communicate on all levels with the TD6 ECM and in the next several days we hope to finish. Unfortunately the fault structure is different than on the petrol ECM - we had hoped it would be the same and we'd now be finished. Just means another couple of days of very intensive work. Whistle

We expect to be done by mid-week. Amongst other reasons is that I'm leaving on holiday and I have the TD6. Cool

Hello Stan

I've just bought the all comms, but I'm a bit disappointed as it doesn't support diesel engine management

Have you petrol or diesel?

Cheers

The engine control module.

Mine wouldnt link to the ECM, I emailed Storey, he said that it only works on the petrol engine.

Can you link to all the options on the fault reading?

When I emailed Storey with a question about suitability of the RAC for my MY2006 facelift TD6 he replied that there wouldn't be much point in getting one for a diesel. I wasn't sure whether he meant particularly a facelift TD6 diesel or just any ffrr diesel, but as I was told mine wasn't suitable, I didn't question him any further. I got a reasonable answer to a reasonable question and left it at that.
