Values were pretty high at the back end of 2022. If you sold / traded something else in at the time, you'd have had the benefit of that being worth more as well, so maybe not as bad as it feels... MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

L405's have plumeted in price due mainly to the prohibitive cost of insurance which has now put them in reach of the previous RR enthusiasts who could only afford the L322 so this must have depressed L322 values esp as the insurers don't seem to regard the L322 as less of a risk despite it not having keyless entry. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

It does amaze me how at least a couple of dealers advertise the most expensive L322's in the country, by charging anything like up to £10,000 more for one of their cars, compared to the majority of L322's being sold on e.g. Autotrader.

In fairness, it maybe that their cars have had many thousands spent on them pre-sale, to make them worthwhile long-term ownership propositions. As if you were to buy one of these v. expensive cars & were to sell/part -ex it after anything less than 3 years you would lose a fortune.

However, given some of the prices being obtained by some of the enthusiast L322 owners selling their excellent looking cars on this site- you wonder why these dealers just dont directly buy most of the FFRR L322 offerings on this site, just valet them & then knock them out for a quick£7-10 K profit?

Likley they have a lot of stock that was bought at the peak of the market. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

It's not just Range Rovers, I recently spent a while at a mates dealership and he was having to drop the price of a perfect Bentley Continental, 2 door 6.0 GT, Black, cream interior, that just wasn't shifting. To say spotless is a gross understatement and every extra you could think of.

Try as I might I could not find anything at all that would have you think this was anything other than a brand new car straight from the factory but with 34,000 miles on it, latest price of £21k but it eventually went for £18k just to move it on.

Honestly, if I'd had somewhere to keep it I'd have bought it there and then and keep fatty as my daily. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

I wonder -as the two dealers, I repeatedly see with the most expensive L322's - seem to have it as their standard business model.......

Hi, there are loads of Bentley W12 6.0 GT Speeds on Autotrader, this the sweet spot, with less than 80,000 miles on them and be sure there is a deal to be had if you walk in with cash.

Black Murdered Out one here, https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2...mp;fromsra
Private Buyer so cash in hand probably sub £20k if he's been waiting a while. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

As I wrote in a parallel thread on 405 vs 322:

Just looking around on Autotrader I can see that there are increasing numbers of 2013 4.4 SDV8 405s for less money than their equivalent 2012 L322 models.

To the point where the cheapest AB 405 for £12.9k for 80k miles vs cheapest < 100k miles L322 is £14.5 for a CAT S example, next L322 is £17k for 90k miles and there are 2 L322 2012 ABs for under £17k but 3 sub £17k 2013 405 ABs.

So good 2013 405s are slipping below the price of good 2012 L322s now and I expect facelift L322s are going to hold their price whilst early 405s continue to plummet.

Hold on to your 322s for now, let's see how things progress through the summer. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

I looked at that cheapest RRAB when it was £14.5k, it said full service history but it had no service history, not even a single service invoice that he said he had done, and it had a
5 year gap on osh.co.uk
Looked nice on top but dripping oil and coolant underneath
The price is now below what he told me Motorway had priced it at?

As well as insurance concerns, ULEZ regulations are also having an effect. Only petrol L322s are compliant, so anyone looking at diesel 405s are more than likely wanting a ULEZ 6 model from MY15 onwards and I don’t see these falling quite so fast as non ULEZ cars. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Values will probably plummet even further when newer RR’s start reaching the end of their PCP agreements. GFV’s would have been set very optimistically a few years ago. The market will be flooded with cars when the GFV is significantly higher than the PX being offered Confused

I hope so. Gonna keep my L322 for a while longer and then get a 460 when they come down to £65-70k. They are already down to c. £80k for lower models (SE).

If I do get one for the right price, It's gonna be a keeper for at least the next 10 years (oh, and it will be a diesel)

The cheapest Ive seen do far is this at £78k.
