Iirc angle the mirror glass inwards then pull hard from the outer edge.

Would it not be easier and safer to remove the mirror cap before changing the glass? |

If it's got the two wires it's hot the heater element built in.

That will be a much cheaper solution…. But…. I’ve a feeling it might have a slightly different tint, and that would annoy me every time I drove 🤣….
