Whilst i was dismantling the part of the car to sort a squeaky aux belt, i removed the throttle body. I’ve got oily deposits around the area suggesting there is a leak but not found the location of the leak. I’ve taped the throttle body in the past in an attempt to try to fix it… but to no avail.

However today i see oil around the seal where the Throttle Body attaches to the plenum! The bolts were tight when i removed them, and the washer (?) does not protrude by the same amount all of the way around. At its worst it is flush with the housing.

I suspect this is a replaceable part? But would not be suprised if its something that only comes with a whole ‘something’ else…

Does anyone know what this part is, and how I replace it? Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

If you are talking about the large green "O" ring then yes it is available with the whole pipe....!!!!

Do a search, people have come up with various fixes....  Pete

In my photo there is a kink in the right hand side which I cannot see in the photos with that product code. Does it come with a kink? Or does that not matter? Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8

All replaced and very quick and easy.

Next for me is to replace the other seal as mentioned on other threads… the PTFE tape fix will do for now tho… Currently driving: 2012 L322 SE Overfinch 4.4 tdv8
