The rear callipers are very prone to seizing as well so be prepared to replace or refurb these. The handbrake warning ( flashing) is normal if it's been parked some time and the suspension has adjusted itself as is normal 1/2 hr after shutdown. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Thanks for the response. Had been driving for 30mins before handbrake fault appeared so might not be that... Rear calipers look good but I will investigate further |

Just to confirm as previously stated. I bought my 2012 in May last year, with corroded rear discs & pads. I had noticed thee before purchase so already had new on order - turns out as well as those the o/s rear caliper was seized and the hand brake shoes had almost totally disintegrated too.. Bonus! |

My rear calipers are being renewed next week with Advanced Factors supplied TRW replacements as part of preventative maintenance.

i would do the rear shoes seeing that you are going to remove callipers etc new vehicle purchase
