For what it's worth l think eurocarparts are wrong to list that product as suitable for use in L322 Td6s. It wouldn't be the first time they have listed items incorrectly. |

Yes all 322's use the "Green stuff" and should NOT be mixed with red! As said above, this will kill the seals in your rack and that is £1000 +

Re my post above, and just hijacking this thread slightly, here’s me assuming it’s the steering pump that’s packed up. It was Lady Wogger who was piloting at the time, she said the steering went heavy, we pulled up straight away, and as I looked under the car, fluid was out all over the tarmac.

I'd top it up and get someone to start it and rock the steering gently whilst looking under the bonnet to see if you can see where it's coming from. There will be a high pressure pipe from the pump to the rack, there will also be a low pressure feed from the reservoir to the pump and a return from the rack to the reservoir. If the oil is all over the front of the engine it probably won't be the rack so it could be a pipe or the pump. With oil leaking and a fan moving air around it'll blow oil everywhere so I'd try having a look with it topped up and running to see if you can spot the leak. I’ll try that mate, that is when I get the thing back. It was recovered by Green Flag, In Cumbria, and taken to Lancaster it’s sat in some recovery firms compound, they say there are no drivers available until the end of the week that can bring it down here to North Notts. |
