well finally got round to replacing the following items on the TD6:
1, air filter
2, crank case breather (actually the BMW modified one)
3, took out the EGR and replaced with a delete kit

and I cannot believe what a difference it's made, instant pick when I planted my foot and the loud whistle has all but gone under acceleration so result one chuffed owner, although can't claim I did all the work as my vehicle technician daughter got her hands dirty as well...proper dad/daughter bonding over a full fat

Nice one. Did those on mine when I had it. Also had a JE Engineering remap too, but as you say, just those simple things wake it up a bit.
