Did a proper repair (solder joint) to a broken wire on a rear parking sensor. Lasted a year twisting bare wires together as I didn’t have 12v soldering iron at the time. Put some rubber damping sheet on the inside of the gearbox lower splash plate as it had started to resonate again after I adjusted it a few weeks back. It’s quite significantly lowered mechanical noise at low speeds / revs. Contemplated removing the mud flaps but reasoned I mind them less than having holes in the bodywork and other marks so left them alone. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

After spending a week in sunny Cornwall (Mevagissey to be precise) I’m currently polishing out the scratches on both sides of the car. Memo to self - Boswinger beach is probably beautiful, but when you have to reverse for the best part of 3/4 mile up a ‘jungle’ lane so tight that the proximity sensors were going off on both sides, a bit of collateral damage is to be expected! Worst thing is, we didn’t even get to see the beach! 😣 L322 TDV8 4.4 - current

Cleaned a cottage, mowed a lawn and went for a drive. Tested the diffs, terrain response and hill decent out in the woods. Fuji White was not my 1st choice but it has really grown on me.

Good job Rob!

First long road trip for me since 2022. I’d say the car was faultless but it did decide to not recognise my key after I had filled up with diesel. Used the pressing it against the dash as per manual trick, started on third go. Hasn’t been an issue since.

Cheers to LR life Laughing

Got it off the drive after being away for 2 months, put the charger on yesterday, fired up straight away and drives perfectly - it’s good to be back, albeit briefly. Disappointed that my front discs haven’t un-warped themselves while I’ve been away but I guess you can’t have everything.

A nice, minor upgrade. Easy install, completely plug and play. Install time was about ten minutes each side.

Replaced the windscreen washer nozzles with BMW fan spray nozzles on my 2007 TDV8:
https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic2753....p;start=30

To remove the power plug from the clip that holds it onto the bonnet, there is a tang in the middle of the plug. Using a small screwdriver, move the tang to one side and it will come undone.

They work well. BMW part numbers for the jet and elbow are 61667054445 (or 6 or 7 nozzles) and 61668374371 (elbows). You need the elbows otherwise you will need to extend the pipework.

They put a nice spray across the windscreen. '07 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8

Not today but Monday........

Just back from a 1500 mile round trip to the south of france and I can't be more impressed with the FFRR. Not a single issue during the whole journey and nice and comfortable cruising along the autoroutes.

And I do have to (reluctantly) acknowledge that the french autoroute drivers are far better at lane discipline than lots of UK motorway drivers - pulling out, overtaking and pulling in, and no lane hogging. Made for a much more relaxed drive. The last 80 mile journey home from the tunnel was way more stressful than the 700 miles in France - vive la France.

Got Hunter 4-wheel alignment done at Tyre Spot Durham, after recently changing my front lower arms.
Great stuff! See Dealer feedback for more info & pics! “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
