It's all down to training old chap, I let her drive through the forest today, the first thing I taught her was how to fold the mirrors........ Whistle

Took the Mountain Bike on the back of the FFRR to Gisburn Forest, spent a tough but satisfying afternoon completing the figure of eight track. I have to say it was a bit severe for me, 40 years ago OK maybe but even then I would have struggled on my Raleigh with it's Sturmey Archer 3 speed gearing - Happy Days.

The good news was that the proprietor of the local cafe/pub (Whelpstone Cafe/ Dog and Partridge pub) told me that it was only open Fri-Sun BUT it was OK for me to park on his car park and he made me a coffee for which he didn't charge and left the bike wash connected if I needed it later - his own vehicle? a FFRR of course Thumbs Up Geoff

Recovered the mighty beast from the long-term parking at Nice airport [click&park]. Now when i left it 3 weeks ago i plugged in one of those solar powered battery conditioners - 2.4W version.
Guess what it started with gusto first time, security man was shocked, pointed out 2 FFRRs and a 110 whose owners were awaiting a jump. Big smiles all around.
