Tried to open the car with the fob but it wouldn't open. Used the key and put it in the ignition to stop the alarm. Started and drove fine, locked but wouldn't unlock again.

Stripped out the centre console to get at the ignition switch. Took it to bits, sprayed it with a little WD40, reassembled it all and lo and behold she starts again. I'll do it all again when I get a new one. |

Very efficient service carried out by MMP (thanks, Mike!) at home, then she successfully completed the MoT test the next day (with just the usual advisories about engine covers and the front tyres, which I expected - post to follow!) - excellent! |

Drove 400 mile round trip to Leeds to pick up my daughter from Uni in atrocious weather, straight after flying back from New York last night. Don't think I could have done it in any other car, was really grateful my wife & daughter were in the safety of my Full Fat RR |

Obtained a passenger cup holder and centre console latch from LR breakers a few weeks ago, today was the first dry day when I had time to fit. Cup holder a few minutes, latch longer as I had to find my Torx set first!

Ignored parking sensors as "they're always overly cautious" and lost a fight with a fence
