My L322 comes with a tow-bar that has this badge




When I bought the car in Germany I look at the VIN decoder and It show that the tow-bar was installed in the car so I thought that It was factory fitted but it sound weird to me that it does not have a Land Rover badge

Do you know if Land Rover fitted tow-bar with the westfalia badge?

yes they do, I have just looked at a 4.4 and that had the same label also factory fitted

and for the D3, D4 and RRS the removable one is made by Thule

LR fitted the westfalia tow bar to the 322 as the “factory” option, if the build sheet says it has a tow bar fitted then that is the right one. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yep. That is the same as on mine.
When looking at another (2010)vehicle without a tow bar, the longitudinal beams had 'Westfalia' labels on them from the factory. Forty years of progress. 1972-2012

I have a 2009 autobiography, the build sheet say tow bar prep, i have westfalia branded brackets underneath but no tow bar going across the rear of the car. I contacted weatfalia and they could not match up the part numbers with anything in their system. I spoke with Land Rover main dealer and they just suggested a whole new bar at £800.

Does anyone know if there is a westfalia bar that attaches to the brackets? Also anyone able to help with tow bar electrics?

The brackets which come on the car aren’t part of the tow bar even though they are made by westfalia.

They are removed when a tow bar is fitted and generally binned.

You need a whole bar, armature and hitch There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I`m going to check the user manual an see where the fuse box is and take a picture.

I suppose this cars will have more than one fuse box
