Evening all!
I have just purchased a 2005 td6 vogue and typically on the way home I got the “air suspension inactive” message. Dropped in to my local indi who plugged it into diagnostics and told me I need a new compressor, but after having a look on the net there seem to be a few different types! I was wondering if anyone knew the specific one that I needed?

My now dead and probably decaying 2011 322 SC had the Hitachi compressor, with some odd bolt on differences to the Hitachi used on the Discoveries, such as bronze filters and so, but the pump was identical...

Was a 2 minute job removing the spare wheel and opening the compressor top housing in the boot to identify the hethen pump...

Not sure if yours is the Hitachi as well, but if you could open the housing and take a pic it would help..

Do a search on here. may just need the cone drilled to allow it to breathe, many examples of it being just that, good luck

Thanks all.
I have now got a replacement compressor and a new battery on the way (the HDC light flashed on start up) hopefully these two will solve to issue. Now to fix the heavy steering. Another sensor I suspect!
