How to secure space saver wheel

Posting for my cousin
My 07 rr, running 21" style 101 wheels. So bought a space saver wheel which is 20"
Good so far, but the round/long screw doesn't hold the spacesaver fully down similarly to the full size spare.

So it's now jumping up/down when going over the bumps quite loudly.

Has anyone faced this problem?

Please suggest how to secure this spacesaver wheel.

Thanks in advance.

If it's a space saver from an L405, there is also a polystyrene piece available to put underneath it.

The irony is that it then saves no space.... Confused

Throw away the space saver and replace with 4 tins of tyre weld and listen to their merry tune as they rattle about Laughing

Drilling a hole in a suitable off cut of wood to sandwich between the wheel and the holding down bolt seems easy to me.
