Disconnect the batteries and test each one, over 12.5v and the battery should be ok, bellow, charge for 24hrs and retest after being left for an hour or so off the charger.

I've replaced both on mine within the last few months and it still shows low battery after three or four short journeys. Turns out both of the old batteries are still good and holding charge so they've been put to other uses which is fine in my case, but not so good otherwise. A voltage test seems to be the first port of call. |

Yes Stan, in both instances re-set by professional mechanics. I do wonder whether the message appears on the basis of journey duration because as said, the old batteries are fine, and the new batteries should be as well. |

If the main batt is only that old then you wouldn’t expect it to be goosed.

So, does it go through a charging cycle? Does it get to the end of charging and tell you it’s charged? And then tell you 24hrs later it’s low? |
