Interesting, was looking to do same as you after sorting out a friends daughter car out after she had a little mishap (ok she ran into something and smashed lights, bumper and front wing cheaper for her if I fix it with second hand parts) the S/H lights had led bulbs with the fan (normal lights on this car have H7 main beam and dip) and light output from the led bulbs was far superior hence my interest, if your front fogs are same as mine doubt they will fit but you can but try. Hope you enjoyed your chinese ( like the smell of some of it, cant stand the taste myself) Thanks for coming back with your report. |

Mine in my 322 high beam were twice as bright as the halogens they replaced! Try some with the aluminium cooling ropes on |

Hi all, not related directly to this post but I'm trying to get confirmation on upgrading dipped beam to LED in my 2011 FFRR. I see things about just main beam upgrades but find the headlights not the best in darkness. I read some posts which state it cannot be done due to voltage changes or to remove the ballast units and associated wiring. I don't want to make any significant changes. I have seen some DS3 Led's and these are quoted as being a complete plug and play fitment.

I've just fitted the Bevinsee LED's to both dip/main and main beams on my 2011 MY L322. To be honest the dip beam isn't really any different in output to the HID's, but it matches the main beam in colour so it was worthwhile doing. The main beams however, blimey what a difference, well worth it. Drives:

As above, fit Bevinsee LEDs to both bulbs per side all in one go. Huge difference overall to light and appearance. I've also done the full interior, side repeat indicators, reversing ones and the rear number plate. Refreshes the entire car from yellow bulbs to clear white 4th post down has my links in there amongst all the other "stuff" https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic44115-75.html Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory" 2025MY Defender D350 90 in Silicon Silver on coils 1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie" Many, many other Landies over the years My preferred specialist: www.glenrands.co.uk -------------------------------------------------- |

That's just because it's brighter. The beam patern is very clear and well defined. If I get the chance I'll put one of the old bulbs back in and point it at a wall and take a picture of that. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

It's not the beam itself that causes the problems - it's the glare caused by poor/unsuitable/missmatched optics. |

In what ways exactly are the optics poor, mismatched and unsuitable ? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
