I'd say buy a RR on condition rather than mileage, more so than most other vehicle types. |

Higher milers generally have had the issues that go at 70 to 80K sorted. For example, oil cooler in the V leaks. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Beyond 50,000 ~60,000 miles it should all be about service history and condition as the suspension can already be at the point lots need replacing - which if you have to use dealers can be expensive.

I’m running a 2005 Td6 which has just ticked over the 100,000 mile mark. She doesn’t miss a beat and I put this down to a strict service regime using quality fluids and parts along with good preventive maintenance.

I purchased at 50k and now have 97k on it.. I would say that over 80k was when the suspension started to need a refresh and pretty much now has had them all done now, so in reality something with 100k probably needs less spending than one with 70/80k over a few years period at lease suspension wise and assuming the owner looked after it.

both those are overpriced...a member here has just sold his 2012 for just under £14k and i think thats the kinda price you should be looking at....

Agree with Stan, they are overpriced. That was the price at least couple of years ago dealers were hoping for. and not gertting.

Got to be careful with the results from the tool, something as simple as a low battery can flag up a whole host of errors! I don’t think I have cleared ours so you can see all sorts going back years mostly to be expected from RR ownership! Make sure you interpret them, if there are loads with exactly the same mileage stamp then it could be as innocent as a flat battery. |

I didn't think they were too bad on price. Sure I can find lower spec cars for under £15k, but a >2010 Autobiography seems a differnt story. (although I'm only looking at ones with light coloured interior, HD sound system, rear seat cooling, so the pickings are slimmer)
