I've got a '12 plate Westminster & had to [so Direct Line said] have a Tracker fitted, really nice guy came up & fitted the Tracker no problem, spoke to him about dash cams as I'd got one ready to install, he recommended 'hard wiring' the unit in & not piggy-backing from elsewhere. The main live feed [with ignition] is in the o/s/r boot area which means running a wire from the o/s/r to the front, I'm waiting for him to get a day to come over & do it.

If anyone from Range Rover reads this, why not have a power supply socket available on /near the dash for all the gadgets? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

On all of my cars I have taken the supply from the interior light. Never had an issue and on the l322 it powers down after a while, also its easy the main reason. 2007 sc |

I just piggy backed mine off something ignition controlled in the glove box fuse box - Can't recall what now. I don't see why that would be a problem.
