Mine doesn't seem to work at all. According to the manual the rubber power button should have a glow around it when it's charging, but mine stays dark! Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

are you sure the cam is sitting correct in the holder and the pins are making contact, if you have metered it out you will know what contact is 12v+ and negative you could do as i did to test my cam and that was used a 12v 500ma adapter and put the wires on the correct terminals it will charge it, i would say even if you was getting a 12v for a few seconds then of and on it would put some charge in to it so my guess it not making contact.. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Hi just tried it on my cam, the green oval only comes on when you pushed the button once it will flash as it looks for a connection, push the button again and the torch will come on...when charging the green oval does not come on... you can have bad luck on 3 units, connect the 12v supply and wait a while as it may be dead flat..just make sure you have the + and - on the right way...

Not a big help but when I did my Landrover offload day in the new FFRR the guide had trouble with the venture can as it had been put in the holder/charger the wrong way. So it is possible to do so could cause an issue. Not much help but might help. |

I've had the venture cam on a 12v charger for 24hours. It's completely dead.

done this for you, the voltage goes from 13.6 to 12.2 to 7/8 volts..these voltages change slightly but still read 13-12-7 point something [does that make sense?]... try a charger with alternating current like a radio charger rather than direct as in a battery charger.. ... - .- -. Y. O. L. O. . |

I wonder if the cam has been left in the charger and never used it and the rechargable battery is passed it's sell-by date or has had too many cycles without being discharged
