I haven't tested this but I wonder if you set your phone screen to shut down after a set time - 2 or 3 minutes say - would that shut down the link to the system? Just a thought. As I said, I haven't tried it yet. John 2008 Stornoway Grey 3.6 Tdv8 Vogue 2005 TD6 Java Black Vogue - Written off!! GAP iiD BT 2003 Discovery TD5 Auto, Nanocom Evolution - gone to a new home! I hope your issues are isolated ones as I am looking to get this unit as well BUT im not confident considering the lack of tech support, or so it seems. Nonetheless Good Luck! |

I think the $5000 is their way of putting people off asking about wireless CarPlay. I bet if you offered them $50,000 they couldn't actually deliver wireless CarPlay. |

As I don't have an AUX in the centre console of my 2005 Vogue, am I going to regret buying one of these? |

You won't get the audio as it plays through the AUX.

I’d get another phone is mirror link is the only option available. Very few apps are mirror link compatible. It was a nice idea but too late with two dominant players like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. |

Fair point Sygic is still blocked for Android Auto. Apparently it is allowed on Apple iOS CarPlay. |
