It isn't a Brexit type argument, it would be similar if 96% of people voted to remain, but we just kept ruining everything anyway.

As I said, everything wrong said on this thread I can refute with peer-reviewed papers. You can do nothing to counteract my points other than to say the vast majority of experts are wrong because of some vague accusation of impropriety with no evidence.

You can't argue facts with poor opinion

I've told you already that 96% of peer-reviewed papers support man-made climate change. Your argument is that there are 4% the other way, and therefore it isn't as one sided as I suggest?

Apologies, latest research suggest it's 97% in support. I wonder if that extra percentage just nudges it into being one-sided for you?

I'd be laughing with you if it wasn't so irritating. Unfortunately too many of the electorate are blissfully unaware of what is really going.
Self serving MP's delivering self serving policies. A wise man once said " the people get the Government they deserve" . I wonder how many have heard of the 1666 C'estqie Vie act, let alone how it impacts them. So there you have it lads, enjoy. Rolling with laughter It's why I moved to Ireland. You're right Grofus, although there are a couple of MPs that are the exception that proves the rule.

If only we could somehow ban everyone who seeks office from attaining it, that would solve many a problem I think

2007MY 3.6 TDV8 EGR blank

Hi All,

Just thought I'd contribute to the forums as they have been a wealth of info over the years. I blanked my EGRs today using the EGR delete flanges from fleabay. The only thing I done different was to completely remove the transverse engine support which the wiring looms connect to.
I wasn't looking forward to the job but it turned out not to bad - the hardest part was getting that dam pollen filter chamber back in Rolling Eyes

I've no EML so far (fingers crossed). The acceleration hesitiation at roundabouts etc is gone, the lumpy idle when cold is gone and it does feel more reponsive and progressive when driving so far which is only a few miles test drive.

Still to do:
Slow retracting seatbelts -some say furniture polish or back to black
Turbo, MAF & MAP sensor system cleaner now that the engine is not polluting itself
Then whatever else it throws at me.......after all it's a Range Rover Rolling with laughter
Squeaky lower door cards / speaker covers
Kurust some rear suspension components 3.6 TDV8 - on probation
L322 Supercharged - gone
P38 - 4.0se - RIP

Like RRluvva I also removed the bracket completely - seemed much easier than trying to move it out of the way.

Easy job - took less than an hour and would have been quicker if one of the bolts holding the pipe to the EGR valve hadn't had a dodgy thread that required a quick run through with a tap.

I also had the EGR mapped out.

Not noticed any real difference in terms of running or economy - but that's not why I did it. I'm happy in the knowledge that no part of the EGRs can now enter the induction system and the engine isn't being fed sooty gunk Smile

My original plan was to blank & fit EGR emulators - but that didn't turn out well as I had real problems with the supplier.

So after about 150 miles and feeling like the engine was much quieter and overall running better. The dreaded engine management light came on Big Cry Gutted!! Even with the light on the Rangie is running great with no noticable difference in performance apart from the EML.

I'm now swithering on whether to buy the Gap IID tool and see if I can get the patch to map out the EGR's myself, or, just go to a tuning place and ask them to Map out the EGR's and do a tuning remap at the same time.

The IID tool will be good long term investment but it's a chunk of cash at circa £400.....gonna take the weekend to think about it and call a local RR tuning place on Monday and see how much they charge.

The EML could be coincedental to the EGR blanking which the Gap tool would show too.

Effing RR's they really are a labour of love Laughing 3.6 TDV8 - on probation

See if someone local can read and clear your fault with there gap tool no point going all in if it's not needed .
I sometimes get a eml if I start the car without waiting a few seconds for the system to read its self especially when it's hot and I am running about , I even get tpm faults and that's been turned off ! Thumbs Up
