Hi, thanks but do you have any idea about the message "Fuel injector system" on the dash? or just angry about the cheap diesel issue.?

Apologies for commenting, i have no idea about the message only experience of supermarket fuels which come from the exact same tanks as premium fuels. For more information on the urban myths that you spread https://www.allstarcard.co.uk/this-matters...rket-fuel/

There is a pressure sensor on top of the fuel filter, if the pressure is to low you get the " Fuel injector system error" message. As the pumps have been replaced I would put a new fuel filter in and check the plug for a good connection. My understanding is that algae in the fuel is a bigger problem if moisture is also in the tank. Moisture should separate in the filter and settle in the bottom, maybe that could trigger the warning too? 2007 TDV8 VSE

Hi wayneg, Thank you for your sensible explanations. It very much makes sence what you have said here about the "fuel injector sensor error"issue.
