Front air suspension fitting

My front drivers side bag started hissing yesterday so I am looking at how to swap it out.
I have ordered 2 new delphi front units from Island 4x4. (based on the strong feedback here Delphi vs Dunlop etc)

If my bag is already hissing and dropping down when parked will i need to do step 1?
I have access to a 4 post ramp so i am not looking for short cuts but i dont want to poke at stuff that should be better left alone. Thumbs Up

Biggest drama you will definitely have is removing the bottom bolts. I used a full sized sledge hammer and it was still a complete pig of a job. Once all the bolts are out it’s a straight forward enough job. Make sure you have lots of time to spare. Current: Supercharged 06 FFRR in Java Black

The wiki says to re-use the old airline connector, though I've also heard that the new airline connector shouldn't be removed from the new airbag as o rings can be disturbed and you should cut the airline and feed this into the new connector on the airbag.

Anyone else heard this advice? Current:

I reused the connector as it seemed the easier option. Have had no issues since. Current: Supercharged 06 FFRR in Java Black
