After much ping-ponging the seller agreed that post 2012 meant L405 RR despite what they kept saying so now have a LR057367. 17 MY Corris Grey 4.4 VAB

Is this suited for a tyre saving spare or a full size spare? |

Both I guess. I'm getting a full size which will be a pig to lift out. 17 MY Corris Grey 4.4 VAB

I think they come as standard witth a full size spare, so I guess that LR deem the space saver light enough to man handle, but the bigger wheels need a lift...... |

Had to lift a 22" tyre into L405 boot this evening... Je*u*... and that's without a wheel attached! |

Wanted a full size spare when I ordered my vehicle, my17 4.4ab Lwb, but they said not an option (but the same vehicle I think in SV version was full size spare as standard!!), so have purchased one separately at significantly more than the factory order cost of approx £200!, hence needing to know, but will need to check if there is a lift system in, I had ordered 22" turbines, so presumably the space saver spare will be a 22". Wait for the sunlight in the morning for the search to begin! |

It won't be a 22 - but it will be the same overall diameter with the tyre on |

No lift system (straps) for a space saver, just looks like the jack at the back and the wheel nut wrench.

Tyre is against the metal floor, but as the whole thing is clamped in place and doesn't move, I don't really see why any cables are at risk.

Wheel diameters are measured on the part that the tyre bead sits on, not the outer lip, so they will appear too big if you measure the actual alloy. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey
