Yours is the 4.4 V8 2002 - 2005 (maybe sneaking into 2006) which is the M62TUB44 BMW engine, the other 4.4 engine started 2005 ish but really 2006 - 2009 and is the Jaguar engine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaguar_AJ-V8_engine#Land_Rover_4.4

your link doesn't work, if it is the instructions you are trying to to download then go to the link below and then download the pdf from there. On my screen where the pdf shows there is a down arrow at the top right corner of the screen to download.

Thats ok you don't need that thing, it's part of the crankcase ventilation i believe but yours is at the back of the engine in a marginally easier place to access.

Just to update my own ramblings regarding the sealant, i contacted Loctite / henkel who replied very promptly and with lots of good information but in summary, 598 is a very old product, 5980 is a newer version and something to do with labelling but the 5900 is recommended with the 5910 being a slightly lower viscosity version with a slightly longer curing time which is what i will be going with when i pull mine apart again in a few weeks time. |

Haven’t worked on my RR for a while, the tail end of a cyclone came through so I had to cover everything up and I have been busy doing other things

While it was raining, I made some chairs to hold the cam locks down, only fitted one at this stage but they seem to work quite well RR 2005 4.4 petrol

They are left handed, i would imagine somebody has had a problem with them coming loose, which i have heard of or they were just being over careful and they have used loctite on the threads. i think it is when cheap torx bits have been used that twist rather than tighten the bolts
