suspension on bump stops

HELP

Put suspension on bumps stops to get compressor out for a small bit of surgery.
Fixed it and put it back into car, now car wont rise up to normal height.

Have iid tool . Read the manual, but its double dutch to me.

Left car running for 15 mins on fast idle to get air into tank, but still wont rise up.
What am I doing wrong .......grrrrrrrrr

Do you have any error codes on the system?
Any lights on the suspension selection switch?

I would check for suspension error codes, make a note if any. Clear them. Disable the suspension again if it thinks it's enabled and then re-enable - select a height.

It may not enable if there are faults on the system.

What surgery did you do? There could be an issue there.

Have you disconnected the battery for 15 mins, reset all fault codes ?? If not, see if that makes a difference. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Wee Jock, only air susp inactive on dash

Ebajema, no haven't tried that as yet.

Did check/pull the 2 fuses( glovebox and rear),both were good.
When I put the rear back in a got a slight hiss, so something is working a bit.

Have you tried running the engine and doing a full lock to full lock with the steering wheel?

If you have an IID tool you can check tank pressures, pump temperature etc. etc. with live data. You can also force it to run with the IID as that's how I fixed mine which was cutting out with a false over temp reading (damp in the connector). I forget how it's done on the IID but it will come under something like Actuator Tests.

Sounds to me like you haven't re-enabled the EAS with the IID....

As an aside, you can also inflate each corner or front and back as well to get it off the bump stops, this is handy if a height sensor goes out, manually fill a corner and the system switches off and just holds the air that is there...

Fix the problem and re-enable the EAS to restore... Pete

Pulled compressor out this morning and found that one of the smaller airlines wasn't seated properly.

Fixed it and put it back into beast and cleared codes.

Arse end started rising almost immediately, Very Happy

Took it for a test drive down back paddock.

Up mode works, back to normal then down mode doesn't. Mad

At least its silent when going up. Very Happy

But why doesn't it want to go down?

Will a battery reset fix this problem?

Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
