Don't know much about the old style head units but the newer 07MY on are run off a plastic fibre optic network. If one of the components goes down (mine had a drowned Bluetooth unit) then it kills the entire network.

If you do have the fibres then you can unplug them and look into the fibre to see if there is any light.

Note there'd be a pair, one is transmit and the other is receive so light may only come out of one. Ed

Won't be a MOST system.

Suggest do some fault finding, check all related fuses, dive into the left rear boot space and check and reseat all connections on the AV kit. Worth also a battery disconnect procedure. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Depends when in 2004. If late then could be MY2005 with MOST. (September build onwards). John

Are there any more inline fuses or internals on amp?

There's a 10A fuse in the top of the radio BM54 unit. Remove the large connector plug from the unit and it can be seen underneath. No reason a flat battery should cause it to blow but you never know.

My 2002 radio one day didn't work. I suffered for a month, and eventually, tried the battery disconnect procedure, and now it's working. But the cd is dead. I can live with that. Sort of scared to fiddle again, in case it's screws up.
