Got a decent size chip in the screen today and Autoglass are coming over next Thursday to repair or replace, I suspect it will be the latter - already had confirmation that the new screen won't be Landrover badged. But they did realise I needed heated with rain sensor. I suppose my question is do I need to watch out for anything, I don't want to worry needlessly so a couple of "I used Autoglass and am very happy" might help but I guess"I used Autoglass and they were " will be inevitable as well. But hey ho all opinions and thoughts welcome Geoff |

Autoglass did mine, original LR screen very knowledgeable about the different screen types and plugs, I think it's luck of the draw who you get but mine told the office it had to be OE given the spec if the car... |

Can a dealer do screen replacement as auto glass have sucked for me twice and I'd want a genuine screen next time with no noise at 70 as both did before till a genuine was fitted. _____________________________________________________

Well, two Autoglass vans on my drive at the moment, new screen (not yet fitted) looks OK. It's Pilkington, its acoustic, its heated, its rain sensing and its tinted correctly - what could possibly go wrong? Geoff |

I've got a crack on mine but thankfully it went down instead of up, so it's not an MOT failure. I'm paranoid about having it changed and it leaking, making lots of wind noise etc etc etc Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

alanm_3 I'll keep you posted on wind noise and leaking. I was also paranoid about "issues" but it's done now. Geoff |
