Have checked and it's only for the 2002 to 2004 model, mine is a 2005 ??

Mine is MY 2005. The method in WIKI is what I have to use. Later models can be reset with a diagnostic tool such as Gap iiD. The tool doesn't cover 2005. John

From what I've just read, my car is a 4.2 Jag engine with touch screen nav, which means it can only be done using a diag program |

For clarity is your VIN number 5Axxxxxxxxxx or 6Axxxxxxxxxxx ? If the latter then you would be better listing your FF as 2006 as it helps with answering any queries you have. John

Not got the logbook back yet, can only find the SALLMAM number on the windscreen and under the bonnet on the strut. do you know where I can find it? |

It's the number at the bottom left of the screen. It's the rest of the number after SALLMAM.
