Reset Inspection warning

My 2005 FFRR has started showing the Inspection message on start up, I have tried to search for the sequence but can't find the one for my year of car?
Thumbs Up
PS it has an eye watering last service in August down South, I live in Cheshire so I'm not going to ask the Indy obviously, and I don't want a bill from a local Indy either!!

Mine is MY 2005. The method in WIKI is what I have to use. Later models can be reset with a diagnostic tool such as Gap iiD. The tool doesn't cover 2005. John

From what I've just read, my car is a 4.2 Jag engine with touch screen nav, which means it can only be done using a diag program Banging Head

For clarity is your VIN number 5Axxxxxxxxxx or 6Axxxxxxxxxxx ? If the latter then you would be better listing your FF as 2006 as it helps with answering any queries you have. John

Not got the logbook back yet, can only find the SALLMAM number on the windscreen and under the bonnet on the strut. do you know where I can find it?

It's the number at the bottom left of the screen. It's the rest of the number after SALLMAM.

Did you ever discover if you have a tow bar or not? John

Just for future clarity.

cars built in late 2004 are '2005 model year' (they do have the touchscreen nav, but no external facelift) and can only be reset from the dash. They have vin's starting 5A

Cars built from the middle of 2005 onwards are '2006 model year' (they have the external facelift, with the headlamp wipers deleted) and can only be reset via a diagnostic tool. They have vin's starting 6A

SALLMAM is common to all L322's, from memory (a guess without looking it up) it breaks down to something like S= United Kingdom, AL = Land Rover, L=Solihull Plant, MA= Range Rover, M33= 5 door. You get the idea. the bit from 6A onwards is the actual serial number.
