I'd be inclined to agree, the wheels are fitted to hubs albeit through bearings, why would a diff issue cause wheel wobble. Be interesting to hear the outcome, hopefully not too expensive. |

Never heard of the diff causing a wheel wobble, usual culprits

Good luck fella let's hope it turns out to be a cheap fix so you can leave that kidney attached to its rightful owner |

Update on my tale of woe. Brian at Green Oval has told me everything else on the FF is fine and dandy, disks fine and been through the suspension with a fine toothed comb. only other problem is that my rear washer doesn't work - yippee.

Hmm, I once contacted Green Oval via their webpage for a quote on work and they never even replied so I went elsewhere. Discovery 4 HSE

Cobber the diff is only a crown wheel and a pinion the pinion gears put the driving force into the crown wheel

Mmm...but If the E-Diff motor has failed ( as mine did) it could lock the rear axle which could cause a judder on cornering, but I felt that on mine coming from the rear as a vibration. Cost about £400 to sort that specific issue on mine. GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

when I am driving around town etc, I can't feel a thing, 65 mph and it drives like a dream and no noise, but 70 and gentle corners it really vibrates strongly, incredibly strongly, through the steering wheel.

Having broken plenty of diffs too .... not sure the symptoms match the solution given. I had full lockers on my Disco and all you get if you leave them all on is tyres scrub and a resistance to tight cornering.

as soon as the wobble started I changed all 4 tyres and had the balance checked twice after. I have read on here that it can be challenging to get them right first time.
