That's an interesting way to avoid having to replace a £300 DSP unit. |

I'm sure I read that the BM54 switches modes from providing low line level speaker outs to speaker level amped outs if it does not see the DSP on the ibus. Just like a car without DSP from factory. So if that's true, you could run from the bm54 for car speakers. The sound would be better with a great big multi channel amp in with crossovers in though.

in the summer I will add a better amp . as you say a 4 ch . I have the low and high color codes some where for the speakers so I will make a better job of it . but I currently won't upgrade the head unit as need to spend some money on tyres etc and i'm using the trip computer . my ipod via signal is pretty good. thought I'd also fixed the gos but it still freezes now and again . It had a furry board inside which I've cleaned |

Hi, do you know what plug carries the speaker cables ? So I can tap into them and use a after market amp?
