Sounds like battery problems starting there. Put it on charge overnight to see how it is in the morning.

Methinks battery too! Thank you, alternator suspect? What would you replace it with?? So want this car to be right! Absolute dream to drive!!

Not sure if it's a fit on the 3.6, but Bosch has a 2 year roadside assistance warranty here in the states. That's what I replace all my personal vehicles alternators with. |

Garage been out with a new battery! Car started fine but no input to battery!! So new alternator tomorrow ! Thank goodness for warranty !!

The replacement is a denso unit. There aren't many other options. I think Lucas do one but I don't think they make them any more just re manufacture rotating components like starters and alternators.
