IIDtool :)

On other matters the IID tool arrived and was switched on in a timely fashion with Patricks help. Can confirm that it is £25 to add a new like for like VIN to the IID (2005-09 >> 2005-09)

I now have DRL, alarm chirp, have re-set the steering angle, adjusted the steering wheel retreat for MRS T24 so that it retracts after key removal, amended single point entry on my key.

chirp on lock/unlock
increased rear pdc volume
key in ignition when door open beep off
switched off steering wheel in/out and up/down
switched auto door lock off
and the biggest bugbear, switch off the tpms..

gonna play with the heights soon..

so stan you can do all of the above just using that simple little plug and play iid tool,,no lap tops attached .??? does it not mess up the ecu.? and how do you access all the different option mode you've described..??? Confused

Steve [greasemonkey] the tool isnt simple but 'messing' with the ecu's is very easy...get one of these you wont regret it..
oh, and it clears faults as well Laughing
