Sorry to be a thicko but I have received my BT IIDTool but I cannot find the app no matter what combo of words I use on the iTunes Store.

The GAP online manual just says search IIDControl in the App Store, how difficult can it be ! Can anyone help ? 2002 Vogue 4.4 V8

Anyone got an iiD tool in the Newbury area? My suspension is playing up. Local extortionists can't look at it for another 2 weeks, and it's driving me mad.
I'll happily pay with beer tokens..........or just beer ! Thumbs Up

vin lock is kinda true at the moment but when the 2.19 upgrade comes along you'll be able to read and clear faults on any FF within your year range..

Yep - a regular IIDTool will do 'regular diagnostics' on all vehicles it is programmed for w/o a VIN lock (e.g. L322 02-05 or L322 06-09 or D3 or D4, etc...) while enhanced diagnostic functions (EAS calibration, CCF, etc see post #3 in the product announcement thread) still remain VIN locked. Additional VIN licenses can be had for around GBP60, tho.

The IIDTool BT has more memory and allows us to load all firmware for all vehicles we cover on to one tool. So standard diagnostics are VIN lock free on all LR models we cover while enhanced diagnostics are VIN locked.

By the end of the year we should cover all LR models excepting, possibly, the P38 RR. This means that a standard IIDTool gives Hawkeye/Lynx single user functionality plus enhanced functionality on one vehicle.
The IIDTool BT is more or less equal to a Hawkeye/Lynx Pro (at 1/3 the price) and still offers enhanced functionality for vehicles with VIN licenses.

Cool stuff... Cool

Thanks, Stan Thumbs Up

^ Wow! That's great. It is SO different than say, Apple. "We changed things for no good reason. The changes don't work on your OLD i___. The programs no longer work without the new changes. Just throw your i____ away and buy a new one from us." Censored Oh, and Apple was the first to come to mind, but they are definitely not alone.

Rant over, we now rejoin the regular thread, already in progress... Mr. Green

I have one in the Thatcham area, but as has been said, it's tied to my vin.

If you can wait till they're unlocked then you're welcome to borrow it.

Finally turned the TPMS off! A massive thank you to GAP Diagnostic for this tool. A great piece of kit.

I'll never bring it to a main dealer again.

Rory, how do you turn of TPMS? I need to do this as it shows up a spare wheel issue and I don't have a spare wheel
