If you want to tow and add the carrier at the same time then the farmers hitch is the one for you. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Doesn't have to be..... Mine is less hassle than my old 'detachable' and looks a whole lot neater when removed - as shown in your photo.

What you need is a pin rather than a bolt - like this -


If you want to tow & carry bikes, then you can't carry many bikes or need a fairly light trailer otherwise you run the risk of overloading the nose weight on the hitch....

good point on overloading the hitch, but with 150kg vertical load you should be pretty safe unless you are towing a big caravan with 100kg on the nose. Thumbs Up There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
