I'm gonna go one step further and say the S/C is so quiet I'm considering an exhaust upgrade to try and unleash a bit of that V8 rumble... however only if I can find a switchable system with a remote control, that would be awesome!

The very first thing at least two people have said to me, on encountering my S/C for the first time, was "hmm... nice, but it needs a louder exhaust"!

It is a bit - genteel. I was thinking of swapping out the exhaust once it's out of warranty. But then again, it's nice not to set off the neighbours' car alarms as I drive past. (Used to drive a Cerbera...)

I'd like a slightly louder exhaust as well but don't want to ruin the car......

An XKR Jag past me last week (same engine) and under hard acceleration it sounded great...... Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

I removed the cats on ours and it sounds brilliant! More burble but not much louder in the cabin at speed... Thumbs Up

Where can I get the decat pipes from!

Will it give it a proper V8 rumble?

Its not really something you can appreciate on a video... There are hundreds on you tube and they all sound the same...

Took mine to a stainless steel exhaust manufacturer and they made the cat replacement pipes to the vehicle...

If you lot think the TD6 is bad I have another car in the shed that could be heard at least 5 miles away on a good night. Dogs knew I was coming home 10 minutes before I got there . Which is a good 10 miles. Its a bit quieter now Big Cry Cool
Long arm of the law had a quiet word. Surprised Sad
But I do miss that V8 roar. Sad Sad Sad
