Hi Lolo
Live Values - IPC Instrument Pack ;
- Next Service in x km
- Service Period x km

The next service is calculated base on a 12000km service interval.
If the service period is 24000km then you need to add 12000km ;
- if the number is positive, ex: 1500km , 1500+12000 = Next service in
13500km
- if the number is negative, ex: -5000km , -5000+12000 = Next service in
7000km

This will be changed in next release. We added this very quickly in the last update.
You may need to update again to the latest 2.17 before seeing the option.

Blackbird - Thanks! Thumbs Up

Drakes - before doing another update (this has never caused a prob to date) please check for connectivity between the IIDTool and the OBD port. When you plug in, the LED on the side of the IiDTool will blink several times. it will also stay lit when a command - cruise control - button is pressed.
We've had numerous cases of poor connectivity due to loose connectors in the OBD port.
Please post back and let us know.

Hi all
will this tool alter the height settings in so much as keep original ride height but alter access height for instance

Thanks

Hi Spanner,
Please update your profile. As Stan said, you can do this separately with the IIDTool (it is the only device that allows this, btw) - but up to now only for the 02-05 L322. We will work on implementing this for the other vehicles at a later date - it's relatively complex to do.

IID Tool

I have joined the list of happy IID Tool users but, once you start using it you end up with more questions and my first question is - what is the Vehicle information and communications system ? it is set to No currently,
My second question is how do you enable the FMH lights, I have tried several options with the IID Tool?

Many thanks for all of the good advice and posts on the forum.

Does this help? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_Infor...ion_System

It's basically Japanese TMC as far as I am aware.

@ TheAllSeeingPie

Many thanks for this reply - I can disregard the VIC now.

This is my third FFRR but I never got involved more than to drive and enjoy, now I am intending to do as much as I can i.e Oil change, brakes and the like instead of going to the main dealers for everything.

Any help with the FMH issue would be appreciated...

For the FMH you have tried a flash of your high beams after turning the ignition off? They aren't an automatic thing and require you to request them to be on.

I also set the car to have all lights on front and back including fogs for the FMH, really lights up the area and might even surprise the neighbours! Tom

The IID tool has to be one of the best OBD tools out there.

Does anyone know if you can extract (to pc or mac) what the current configurations are set to?

I know you can save your configuration to the tool, but can you print it out or download it instead of having to sit at the dash reading the screen?

Mike

Hi chaps

Can someone post me a Noddy's guide to getting the central locking working the way I want - I've got the speed related locking working fine, but when I get out of the car, only the driver's door unlocks, and I have to press the key fob again to unlock the boot and/or other doors. I find this mildly annoying but I've tried various permutations but not succeeded.

Incidentally, what is the difference between "Speed related locking Repeat" and "Speed related locking, keys 1-4"?

The "repeat" means if you're on the move and someone hits the unlock, it'll just re-lock automatically.

Hi nubbin,
Check the 'Single Point of Entry' settings for whatever # key you have.
