Well chaps, the time has come and our L322 4.4 V8 went to a better place a couple of weeks ago.
We had her just over a couple of years.
FWIW to anyone, I got £6k for it in P/X with 100k on the clock ...

Just to add some more detail to this. I just let the car cool off to cold.
Tried again. Did not do it in cold start.

Once warm after a couple of mins it did start doing it.

Well, still got this problem even after changing the O2 sensors.

To update so far I have done the following:

PCV - checked. Hoeses are replaced and all ok. *
Gearbox double flush done. Made n ...

Fault codes have gone which is good.

Exhaust is back on the car now, just about to re-fit the new O2 sensors and see what happens.

I dont think its going to cure my problem myself... but its the last option now really as I have tried ...

So, following my post about my O2 sensor codes I decided to change the rear O2 sensors.... bad move!
The front ones had previously come out with out so much as a bead of sweat..
The rears... cracked ...
