 How to remove headlight washers

Anyone know if they come out of the front bumper and if so the best way to get them out?

They seem to move a bit when a little pressure is applied but I don't want to force them and break something ...

I think the radiator being hot at the top and cold at the bottom may be the key to this, I wonder if it could be a problem with the water pump?

Yes and I can even switch between the two whilst the fault is occurring and that doesn't make any difference

It doesn't seem to happen when the outside temp is lower than 3 degrees

Thermostat done and seems to have cured the fan coming on when it shouldn't, however, it seems this fault wasn't connected to the HDC. Car is back in the delears for further investigation.
