Can you clear them (DTC) and see what returns as some of these have activated at a different mileage, the last being throttle peddle position, which must be the culprit

I need to put some charge into the battery (4.4 TDV8 2012) as it’s come up with engine error
Looking at the battery in situ it’s not easy to see the terminals in where the battery sits.

Was under the bonnet today, looking at how to fit a check battery indicator and round the battery area was this loose piece of trim.
Does anyone know what it is, or where it goes\/

We have the remote, but the battery is flat.
Opened it up, expecting a cr2031 flat battery, but it’s a small tall battery
