Agreed that it is not illegal nor a MOT failure. My understanding is that they are not quite the same, and they should also have a price difference.

Not sure it would Stan,

MontPeillier is just west of Aix, so it’s in the right direction. Possibly calculates as an hour extra but factor in Paris traffic and it is probably about the same….

The dozen or so times I’ve done south, I’ve gone Calais, Reims, Dijon, Lyon, Aix en Provence, sunshine…. With a stop in either Reims or Lyon depending on crossing time.

I use this one from Sealy. Only £29 on Amazon. Has been very useful for many years now and keeps working well. You can hang it, you can use the very strong magnet. You can flip the lights to be tight ...

I earthed mine to the actual print board screw inside the enclosure. That is what naviplus told me.

Perhaps you disconnected it just at the time photo was taken but if not you have to fix that to the same board.
