Car back - all good, the steering feels lighter as well so maybe the problem was a slow one getting worse.

Although one shock was split, the other ones rubber was tired and disintegrating so happy ...

I would be doing all sorts of clever things normally but with snow and a heavily pregnant wife I'm going for the easiest solution right now even if it costs me am extra £200-300
