Nothing is what I did in mine today, it's parked up and I'm sat in Lagos, hot and sunny 33˚C. Time for a cold one...or two |

First trip away in the FFRR over the weekend, loaded up with dog, presents, half a wardrobe for SWBMO. 4 hours each way, arrived feeling relaxed and calm, it was just effortless, even coming back last night on heavily flooded A/B roads - sitting up that high really does make a difference to the visibility and you can drive with much more awareness of your surroundings.

Heard my alarm going off for the first time! I had stuck a TV aerial up in the rear window with some tape to test digital telly, and then locked the car up. The tape came unstuck and the aerial fell down, setting off the volumetric alarm. Is this the same noise as the other reasons for the alarm going off, a loud beeping noise? .

Drove down to south Wales last night. It was windy and hammering down with rain it was so reassuring to be driving a car which is so planted on the road. Drove back today in better weather fortunately. Reset my speedo and averaged 31 mpg for the 160 mile plus return journey - not bad. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE
