Nothing is what I did in mine today, it's parked up and I'm sat in Lagos, hot and sunny 33˚C. Time for a cold one...or two

New Zealand 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

First trip away in the FFRR over the weekend, loaded up with dog, presents, half a wardrobe for SWBMO. 4 hours each way, arrived feeling relaxed and calm, it was just effortless, even coming back last night on heavily flooded A/B roads - sitting up that high really does make a difference to the visibility and you can drive with much more awareness of your surroundings.

Have got some wind noise around the top of the drivers door, a quick peek under the A pillar trim and one of the clips is broken, so i'll need to sort that out. Only other minor issue was the spray from the front nearside coming over the bonnet onto the windscreen when going through the deep standing water on the roads - suspect the 285 width tyres (on 22" wheels) didn't help, and 2.7 tonnes doesn't get pulled offline when hitting the watrer like a smaller car.

Oh yeah, petrol is 5p a litre cheaper in the south west £1.34 for Tesco 99 in Crediton, £1.39 at my local haunts in Leatherhead & Horsham Evil or Very Mad 2006 Supercharged

Heard my alarm going off for the first time! I had stuck a TV aerial up in the rear window with some tape to test digital telly, and then locked the car up. The tape came unstuck and the aerial fell down, setting off the volumetric alarm. Is this the same noise as the other reasons for the alarm going off, a loud beeping noise? .

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

After 6 years 3 months ownership took it to the dealer and parked it.

Signed some paperwork and drove out in a 1 year old 4.4 TDV8.

Might have to post some details in another thread.

Wales 2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Zambezi Silver

Drove down to south Wales last night. It was windy and hammering down with rain it was so reassuring to be driving a car which is so planted on the road. Drove back today in better weather fortunately. Reset my speedo and averaged 31 mpg for the 160 mile plus return journey - not bad. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Washed it and found the front left tyre shoulder worn.

Checked the trailer socket was wired correctly.

Managed to blow the fuse on the permanently live feed so checked the trailer fuses in the rear, both OK, then discovered there is one in the front fuse box but the layout on the lid does not match the layout of the fuses.

Found it replaced it now OK.

Anybody have the correct layout for a 2010?

Ian

Saw my first Evoque on the road (a white 4 door) and parked up next to it at the railway station. Tiny ! .
