I'm another newbe and Ive been following this thread in detail, surfed the internet at great lengths and it seems to me that wiggs is the lord saviour himself!!

So your Highness Mr wiggs do you have any more or can you get your hands on any more of those digital tuners?

oh by the way i have the old analogue system in there but unable to receive anything here in Germany
so if any body is interested in my old analogue on the proviso wiggs can get hold of one i'll be more than happy to sell it on, I think that's it.....................yea that's it.

Negative waves man ........some areas can still receive analogue tv. it does work.......just not here and there are a lot of whizzkids about who may be able to doctor it there's certainly no harme done in asking.........eh!

For FFRR's with the BMW navigation system (not the touchscreen nav) yes it's a straight swap It's the large silver box in your photo, the one with the blue and white plugs

Undo the nut at the top and pull the unit upwards making sure you dont catch it on any other other wiring looms It's normally a snug fit and you would think there are other bolts holding the TV tuner in place but there's definately only the one

No worries. I have managed to get a TV module from a 2009 model as well as an updated bluetooth module. The vehicle had just arrived at the scrap yard so I got lucky. I fitted them both today and they work fine apart from the signal keeps breaking up on the TV. I was wondering if I need to upgrade the antenna system too? Any ideas?

i have managed to source some more new Digital tv tuners

i dont know how long they will be available for ...so its first come first serve im afraid .

They are due with me tommorow

I will pm everybody that showed an interest in the initial run ...but if any one is desperate for one of the 5 I have comming tomorrow please let me know

I also have a stock of the D4 / 2010 bluetooth modules ...

the antenna system is the same ...could just be a bad area ...you should get better signal this year with the full digital switchover
