i had this on my 04 last week, turned out to be the center air vent being in the half on/half off position.Either way (fullon or off) cured the whistle??

Check the plastic rivets in the trim on the A pillar.

I have such a noise , it comes from the windscreen changed just before I bought my FF. I'll have a look at these rivets.

I get this in my car when the temperature wheel in the centre console is moved from red (hot setting) to blue (cold setting). No idea why, but when it's in the middle position, there's a whistle through the air vents. All I need to do is move it slighty either way and the noise disappears! This ^^^ The external black finishers will give a whistle if they aren't fitted properly. |

Try the plastic at bottom of windscreen if screen has been replaced like mine its possible they did'nt seal between bottom of screen and plastic trim. I used some black silicone sealant and that sorted my issue no noise at all now. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

If the screen has been replaced the fitters may have used metal rivets to refit (they did on mine)

Picked my 2010 vogue today, used the check list care of Matthew Stevenson Thanks Matt, everything checked out ok called the Land Rover dealer who originally sold and serviced the vehicle about the recall on front diff was advised only 2002 -2003 were recalled mine had the new diff so no recall was required, drove down the A12 from Chelmsford Saxton 4x4 and was getting a horrible wind noise, from the front screen. I've checked this forum on wind noise and I suspect the windscreen has been replaced so will be checking bells and whistles on the screen tomorrow sounds like it's something trivial |

Check the black bits on the A pillar at tight to the screen. Although my 2010 was a 2 year old approved used when I bought, they were loose and caused noise - had them fixed under warranty (suspect it was just some clips) |
