Sorry to ask the obvious, but are we saying the if your ffrr has had the screen replaced it will be whistling Dixie as it goes down the road Has anyone tried a blob of something in the rivet head? like epoxy resin? could get rid of the hard edge and give the airstream a clean flow, thus halting any ideas your ffrr has about going on X factor or what ever they are calling the Great British lack of talent show this year Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Just had a chip repair by Autoglass and asked the guy about my 'buzzing' windscreen. I pointed out that the rubber seal around the base of the screen seemed to be a little proud. He said it was probably ok as the scuttle panel and fixings seemed ok.

I have found if the rubber at the base of the windscreen is even the slightest bit slack or has a small gap it will vibrate and you sometimes think the sound is coming from the top of the windscreen . 2008 MY Supercharged

Agreed. I should add that the Autoglass guy did also seal the rubber strip down better than it was before. 2012 5.0L S/C
