If your having suspension issues on LPG then check your compressor location and angle of install... Just like a conventional workshop compressor they are designed to work one way up only and suck in moisture etc when mounted incorrectly...

Gav i am running a 4.4 with the zf auto so hopefully you are correct . Good point Craig,my compressor is mounted out of its shell on a custom made bracket next to the gas tank in the spare wheel well. Started i up tonite for the first time since saturday and the compressor ran for at least a minute even though the air susp inactive light and message was on

Hi Paul, as mentioned the ZF generally has less issues, but they do have a few quirks. There is a very good thread on this trannie - http://forum.landrovernet.com/showthread.p...4-teardown

Cheers Gav,make for a very interesting read and as you say this guy Bemble seems to be a whizz on ZF autos. Will give him a shout. Interesting to note that he very definately warns against dexron oil

It is maybe worth taking all the electric connectors off and spray them with WD-40 or CRC 2-26. Also disconnect the battery leads on the battery and clean the inside surface of the clamps of the leads and the battery poles. Then put a thin layer of vaseline on it to prevent any corrosion.

Thanks Ebajema, may give it a go. Fixed the cd changer the old fashioned way, gave it a whack and it started working again ,nice to know that the Range rover responds well to cheap fixes
