Hi All
Been keeping an eye on this thread as I have had a recurrent Inactive AS message, caused by slow response from the compressor. Can anybody add any more info or progress to the thread? I looked at the Netherlands EAS guys, Landrovermall on Ebay - I was wondering if they are moving towards a repair kit for the L322, and have emailed them tonight.

I am thinking of stripping the unit, cleaning the inlet/exhaust and cylinder bore etc, before applying a very light coat of silicone lubricant to the piston etc. It seems crazy to throw out a good compressor for the sake of a seal costing a few quid. Will post any further info in due course, thanks guys

Sorry, forgot to add, I will try turning the piston ring over also. My concentration is not the best, spent too long watching Rob's avatar. Thumbs Up

Just a word of advice, don't turn your ring over as I knocked mine doing that. The silicon lube is not a bad idea.
